We would like to present you the best dishwashers. We have researched on the Internet, compared many surveys and conducted other actions. With our dishwasher guide, we want to make it easier for you to decide which dishwasher to buy. Sometimes we could also find a convincing test video, but not in every buying guide these are available.

If your dishwasher is broken, you will quickly miss this time-saving appliance. Charging a dishwasher and hitting the starter can save you more than 230 hours per year compared to washing and drying by hand, according to Energy Star. Here’s how to find the best dishwasher for your budget and needs.
Conventional built-in dishwashers, the most popular dishwashers purchased and tested, are 60 cm wide. Whatever you choose, you should use a detergent that has been cleaned in our tests to get the most out of your machine.
Dishwashers are available in white, bisque, black, slate, stainless steel and black stainless steel. Dishwashers once looked very similar, but not anymore. Some manufacturers have simplified the look by sliding the controls to the top of the door so they are hidden when the door is closed.
On some models, the brand logo has also disappeared, and a retracted pocket handle replaces a bar. After the brand name and handle disappeared, manufacturers found that their stainless steel dishwashers would look good in the kitchen next to stainless steel appliances from other brands, and so did consumers.

Lab test for your home
Dishwashers that perform well but don’t last over time are not winners. That’s why it’s important to consider our latest reliability and owner satisfaction survey results. To help you choose the best dishwasher for your budget, we now combine lab test results, expected reliability and owner satisfaction into one overall score.
A load of name-brand dishwashers
There are more than 20 brands among dishwasher manufacturers. You’ll see familiar names like Amana, Frigidaire, GE, Kenmore, LG, Maytag, Samsung and Whirlpool. Ikea is also there – and no, you don’t have to assemble the dishwasher yourself.
Manufacturers in the higher price range are Asko, Bertazzoni, Bosch, Dacor, Electrolux, Fisher & Paykel, GE-Profile, Jenn-Air, Kenmore Elite, KitchenAid, Miele, Thermador and Viking. We research the brands you see in stores and online for you on the fly. That’s why we also carry models from Equator, Fagor, Kucht, Summit and Thor Kitchen.
Give your dishwasher price a name
The width and depth of a traditional dishwasher is designed for a 60×60 cm cavity. However, fitting your new dishwasher could be a challenge if you have tiled floors or are readjusting your counters and changing the height of the cooking cavity. Before you decide, measure your space and ask the dealer about the overall height range (and don’t forget to factor in the leveling feet setting).
When shopping, look closely at how the inside of the dishwasher is configured – the spacing of the tines and the arrangement of the cutlery baskets and racks. You need a dishwasher that you can cook and eat with.
Dishwashers for 500 euros or less
Although they do not perform the best in our tests, you can still get a dishwasher that is great for cleaning and is very good or even excellent at drying. Some models in this price range now have a floor sensor that adjusts the cycle time and water usage to the floor level of the load, improving water efficiency. And some even have stainless steel interiors. What’s the catch? The features are simple: adjustable racks and stainless steel tubs are not a given. Wash times are often long, and most dishwashers in this price range are relatively noisy.
Dishwashers for 600 to 900 euros
You get a quieter unit, excellent cleaning, and practical features that may be worth spending a little more on, such as adjustable racks and flexible cutlery slots, as well as a stainless steel tub that resists stains better than plastic. A floor sensor is a given.
Dishwashers for 1,000 euros or more
The design is changing and dishwashers are fully loaded. You no longer have to choose between useful functions. There are also innovative features such as special wash zones for heavily soiled items and Wi-Fi connectivity.
They usually contain two stacked drawers that you can use simultaneously or separately. However, they are expensive, and the models we tested were not as efficient overall as most conventional dishwashers.
Adjustable (or additional) racks and loading aids
Racks that move up and down and adjustable tines let you reconfigure the inside of the dishwasher. Cutlery racks with individual slots and a third top rack help you organize contents, but limit how big an item can be in the second rack.
This more expensive Scandinavian brand looks tidy.
